Sarah Jane Sugerman

Sarah is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and holds a JD from the Washington College of Law at American University. She spent more than a decade living overseas in Hong Kong, London and Shanghai with her family before relocating to Los Angeles in 2012. During that time, while working as a corporate attorney specializing in tax matters, she completed yoga teaching, health and life coaching certifications.

She enjoyed the college application process with her own children so much (some days!) that she completed the College Counseling Certificate Program at UCLA. She works closely with students to build balanced school lists that reflect their interests and needs and helps them find their authentic voice and effectively share their stories through their essays. Her client-centric, highly personalized college counseling approach employs the research, writing, advocacy, oral communication and listening skills she used when she practiced law.

Sarah is a member of NACAC and currently sits on the Parents and Grandparents Committee at Dartmouth College.
